CULTURE IS DONE TOGETHER: THE CIVIC MUSEUMS OF THE CAPITAL CITIES OF THE MARCHE REGION REOPEN TOGETHER ON THE SAME DAY AND IN THE SAME WAY, ON 30th MAY AND FREE OF CHARGE.
Ancona, Ascoli, Fermo, Macerata and Pesaro, the five provincial capitals of the Marche region, launch one of the most complex seasons in the region’s cultural history with a common gesture, with a strong symbolic sense, and not only: the opening of the Civic Museums on the same day, 30th May, and in the same way, free.
For the entire month of June, the five capital cities offer free museums to everyone, with the aim of promoting the controlled sociality that cultural spaces guarantee, the desire to be together and discover beauty and history, curiosity and movement of people.
In Fermo, from 30th May, it will be possible to visit the museum structures in the following ways:
- PALAZZO DEI PRIORI: open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10:30 am to 01:00 pm and from 02:30 pm to 07:00 pm. Monday, 01st June it is open.
- ROMAN CISTERNS: guided tours departing from Palazzo dei Priori, every day except Mondays. Departure times guided tours: 11:00 am – 12:00 pm – 03:00 pm – 05:00 pm – 06:30 pm. Monday, 01st June it is open.
- THEATRE “DELL’AQUILA”: guided tours departing from Palazzo dei Priori, every day except Mondays. Departure times guided tours: 12:30 pm – 04:00 pm – 06:00 pm. Monday, 01st June it is open.
- ARCHAEOLOGICAL MUSEUM TORRE DI PALME: open Saturday and Sunday, 01st and 02nd June, from 02:30 pm to 07:00 pm.
In consideration of compliance with the Covid-19 virus containment requirements, entrances and visits to the facilities may be restricted in terms of the route and the maximum number of visitors present at the same time. For this reason, reservations are strongly recommended.
